Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My Instagram account @annephung is where I am most popular with my followers. I share my daily life, positive and negative. My parents took my family to America in 1990, when I was just one-and-a half. I wouldn't be sharing my life story today if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. In order to give them a chance at a more prospering future, I aimed on success and worked hard to get there. I had a set plan for my life: university, get a job, get married, buy the house, and then have kids. Though I believed that this was the definition of the ideal life, reality had other plans. In 2013, I found I disliked my corporate position. Even though the compensation and status were good however, I wasn't sure if the work was satisfying. Instead I felt that I was simply spending my time. While I moved to a new path in life I began to discover that I was a personal trainer and what I wanted to do. I'm a sucker of exercise and enjoy working in the company of people and am eager to help those around me. This year I'll be celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I launched my own business. It's not common to see an Asian woman working in this field. Within the field of coaching I would like to change the world by providing quality training to help others become healthier and happier. In addition, I strive to motivate others to follow the goals they have set for themselves so that they can achieve what they wish to do. My career took off as I experienced the greatest successful times in my entire life. My mother passed away at the same time that my career took off. She has won the eight-year fight with Scleroderma. Now she's resting on Heaven and I will always have her close to my heart. We can learn a lot from our experiences, though it may be difficult to spot it in the moment. Many ways, the loss of my mother changed me. I honestly believe that she gave me another opportunity to be a part of her story after she passed away. She died in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to begin her new life. I got my second chance at living a happy and fulfilled life. In my 30's, it is the first that I truly feel like I am alive. When I tell the story of my life, it is with the intention that people will be able to understand my experiences and thoughts. It is to know that they're not the only ones. And that there is real love. Additionally, therapy is a necessity and it isn't abnormal. In the end, your wellness is your greatest wealth. My hope is that you live your life fully and that your death be without regrets, because that's all we can count on for the rest of our lives.
